He then turned to the butler and instructed, "Go get someone to take our in-laws home in our family Bentley nanny van."

The butler immediately nodded and said, "Yes, Sir."

Shen Zihao was reprimanded for seemingly no reason, but he persisted, "I'll accompany them out then."

He followed Dad Xia and Mom Xia as they walked out of the house.

Once outside, Shen Zihao apologized, "Dad, Mom, my father can be merciless with his words, please don't take it to heart. It's Nuannuan's and my future, it has nothing to do with him! It must have been tough on all of you today?"

"At home, how do you address your stepmother? Is it Mom, or Aunty Mei? Your father insisted earlier that Nuannuan should address her as Mom. This needs to be made clear."
