Huo Mian looked as if she was simultaneously amused and vexed at the twins.

Just then, Huo Mian's phone rang.

"Speak of the devils...." Huo Mian then picked up the phone and turned on the video chat…

"Hey Mommy," Little Bean and Pudding said together.

"Hi Darlings."

"Where's Daddy?" Little Bean asked.

"He's there." Huo Mian held up her phone to Qin Chu to show his face.

"Daddy, did you miss me?" Little Bean asked in a sweet tone.

"Of course." Qin Chu smiled.

"You're lying… When Mommy's there, you won't even think of us… After all, Mommy is more important to you than we are…"

Qin Chu: "…"

"Don't blame Daddy. All men lust for women… It's just how they are. We need to be tolerant," Pudding, who acted more like an adult, said to Little Bean.

Rick was sitting across from Huo Mian. When Rick heard their conversation, he almost spat out the red wine he was drinking.

"Ha…"

"What's that noise? Where are you guys right now? At a hotel?" Little Bean asked curiously. 

"No, we're at a friend's place," Huo Mian responded.

"Which friend? We know all your friends!" Pudding asked calmly as she looked at Huo Mian.

"We're at Uncle Rick's place."

"Oh? Where's Uncle Rick? Let us see him. I heard he's a super good looking mix-blood!" Little Bean acted like a pervert when she heard Rick's name.

Huo Mian didn't know what else she could do so she turned her phone to face Rick.

"Hey girls!" Rick didn't know that they could speak English so he greeted them in Chinese.

"Wow. Uncle Rick, you're really handsome!" Little Bean exclaimed. 

"Uncle Rick, you can speak English. We understand," Pudding said as she noticed this detail.

"Oh. I can?" Rick too was teased by them.

"Not only can we speak English, we can also speak Japanese, Korean, French, German, Spanish… We know a lot of different languages…" Little Bean said proudly.

She was so desperate to show off that she wanted to tell him all about herself.

"Mr. Qin, your daughter is already flirting with guys… She's posing and showing off. Aren't you going to do anything about it?" Huo Mian whispered.

"Why should I? This is a skill… a talent. We can't let them waste their talents," Qin Chu said with confidence.

"Fine… They're your daughters after all. You guys share the same genes." Huo Mian gave up.

"Oh wow! You guys are amazing!" Rick immediately praised them.

"Uncle Rick, where do you live?" Pudding liked talking about people's interests and daily life while Little Bean was more into gossip.

"I live in New Orleans," Rick responded with a smile.

"Then you must come from a place with great chicken!" Little Bean almost drooled when he said New Orleans.

"Haha, yeah. They're delicious. You guys should come over sometime and I'll take you guys out for chicken!" 

Rick was normally very cool but when he heard how the twins talked, he too couldn't help but loosen up and chuckle from time to time…

Huo Mian leaned over to Qin Chu and whispered in his ear, "Honey, I've known Rick for a long time now but it's the first time I've seen him like this."

"Yeah, that's why I said your daughters are amazing." Qin Chu chuckled.

"It's a date, Uncle Rick. You have to keep your promise!" Little Bean was very excited.

"Of course."

"Can you come to pick us up now?"

Rick: "…"

"Haha… Don't worry. We're just joking…" Little Bean burst into laughter.

Rick: "…"
