Huo Mian took care of the miscellaneous tasks at hand and felt a headache.

"Nothing, just a little tired."

"Then you should leave soon, don't work overtime."

"Mhm, I'm leaving early today." Huo Mian packed up and left with her purse and car keys.

She saw a bunch of pink roses on her hood.

She picked it up and saw a card.

"Thank you for your care."

There was no signature but it had to be Liu Ze from the tone of it.

She looked around and didn't see anybody. She picked up her phone and called him.

"Vice Director…"

"Doctor Liu, are the flowers from you?"

"Mhm, I ordered them just for you. Thank you for your care."

"I don't think roses are appropriate." Huo Mian was a little displeased. She had too many scandals lately already.

From Wei Dong to Jiang Ye, to Su Yu, and now Liu Ze. She was close to exploding.

"Oh, roses don't necessarily represent love. They're Bulgarian roses, the colors are beautiful. I thought you'd like it."
