"I wish this was just a dream…"

The guards exchanged a look and didn't speak.

Then she slammed the door closed.

One of the guards went to deliver her request.

In a little while, food came; it was a meal for two.

Huo Mian held the bowl of congee carefully and blew at it.

"Come. Su Yu, eat some."

"Ahem. I can do it. I have hands." Su Yu looked shy. He liked joking but in front of Huo Mian, he always looked like a youth with his first love.
