At the sudden mention of Chen Yuning, Huo Mian looked surprised.

She searched her memories quickly and understood the question.

"Chen Yuning, that shameless homewrecker. You don't remember her?" Zhu Lingling looked puzzled. Huo Mian had an excellent memory and wouldn't forget something happening so recently.

"Can't you spend some time with me before handling the business? Is it so important?"

For some reason, Qin Chu felt unsettled. 

He left the bedroom and saw Little Bean was playing with her cellphone in bed sleepily.

Pudding walked out of the room and bumped into her father.

"Daddy…"

"What's up?"

"Mommy looks weird, probably because she just lost our baby brother."

"Why do you think so?"

Qin Chu squatted down and asked in a low voice as if he was afraid someone would overhear their talk.

"I'm not sure. I think her expressions and eyes were sometimes not sincere… When she saw Aunt Lingling, her behavior wasn't as intimate as before… I think she's still in shock from what has happened. Maybe you should spend more time with her."

Pudding had not only Qin Chu's arrogance and aloofness but also Huo Mian's sensitivity.

She had sensed something wasn't right.

"Okay. Don't worry. Daddy will handle it."

"Can we visit Handsome Su tomorrow?" Pudding asked.

"Of course. He'll be happy to see you."

Qin Chu kissed his daughter's eyelashes lovingly.

This night, Qin Chu didn't finish his work until 2 AM in the early morning; not to disturb Huo Mian, he slept in the study.

On the next morning, An knocked on Su Yu's door and found the room was empty.

"President Su?" terrified, An yelled.
