Miss Mai was here first thing in the morning. It was six o'clock and the sun had just woken up.

Yan Qingsi had less than two hours of sleep and was yawning when she opened the door.

She leaned against the doorframe with her eyes shut. "Miss Mai, why are you here so early?"

Miss Mai appeared to be talking to someone who was very chipper, "King Jin, you're living here? What a coincidence."

Yan Qingsi opened her eyes blurrily. The figure looked like the man on the balcony from last night.

He did not answer Miss Mai's question and asked one instead. "Miss Mai, she's one of yours?"

Yan Qingsi glanced at the outstretched hand. She slowly moved her hand for the shake. "Yan Qingsi…"

The man standing in front of her had on a pair of sunglasses and a baseball cap. One could tell from his strong jawline and pretty lips that he was a hit with the masses.

Whether intentional or not, his grip on her hand was a tad too firm. When he let go, his fingers lingered on her skin. This was intentional.

Yan Qingsi chuckled internally. 'F*ck, this man is interested.'
